Cyber Essentials assessments during the COVID-19 pandemic

We were asked this question a few times now. How do we perform Cyber Essentials Assessments during the COVID-19 pandemic since most employees are working from home? Long story short, we perform the assessments remotely. The entire process is contactless and done 100% remotely. Like to know more about Cyber Essentials and why you need it? Read on.

Cyber Essentials scheme was introduced by the UK government in 2014. It wasn't very popular back then but it is now becoming a mandatory requirement for the supply chain. Almost every other tender is asking for the suppliers to have it. The scheme essentials cover the fundamental security controls for Cyber Security and if you get them in place you can protect your business against most of the most common cyber attacks. More about Cyber Essentials and FAQ are on our blog post.

Check out our ‘Cyber Essentials plus certification checklist & requirements’ to know more about what’s required for the certification.
