TechForce Cyber Welcomes New Cyber Security Analyst Francesco Ojoko

TechForce Cyber has strengthened its growing certification and assessment team with the appointment of Francesco Ojoko as part-time Cyber Security Analyst.
Francesco joins the Aberdeen-based cyber security company with experience across cyber security and analyst roles, combining hands-on security work with investigation, analysis and a methodical, evidence-based approach. He is currently completing his MSc in Cyber Security at Robert Gordon University and also holds CompTIA Security+ certification.
In his new role, Francesco will support TechForce Cyber’s Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification services, assisting with assessments, incident reporting and threat intelligence activity. He is also training towards becoming a qualified IASME assessor, supporting the company’s continued investment in technical skills, certification capability and client service.
The appointment comes as organisations continue to place greater focus on cyber resilience, compliance and recognised certification schemes. Through its Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus services, TechForce Cyber supports businesses in Aberdeen, Scotland and across the UK in strengthening their cyber security foundations and demonstrating their commitment to protecting systems, data and customers.
For Francesco, the opportunity brings together his analyst experience, academic background and professional certifications in a practical, client-facing role with a clear pathway for development.
Commenting on his new role, Francesco said:
“I am excited to join TechForce Cyber and continue developing into the assessor role. I care about doing the work properly, communicating clearly and making sure clients feel well supported throughout the certification process. This is the right place for me to build my career in cyber security.”
Francesco was drawn to the cyber security industry because of its practical impact and the role it plays in protecting real businesses from real harm. He was particularly attracted to TechForce Cyber’s hands-on work as a certification body, as well as the opportunity to learn directly from experienced professionals and progress towards becoming a qualified, and eventually lead, assessor.
He said the role represents “a real chance to build a career in UK cyber security from solid ground, doing meaningful work and growing into the assessor role, with people who genuinely invest in you.”
Francesco’s core focus will be Cyber Essentials assessment, while also developing his interests in incident response, digital forensics and threat intelligence. With an investigative mindset and a clear commitment to getting the details right, he is looking forward to supporting clients through a thorough, responsive and well-communicated certification process.
Speaking about the appointment, Jai Aenugu, CEO and Founder of TechForce Cyber, said:
“We are delighted to welcome Francesco to the TechForce Cyber team. His technical background, commitment to learning and methodical approach make him a strong addition to our certification and assessment team. As demand for Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus continues to grow, Francesco will play an important role in helping us deliver a responsive and high-quality service to our clients.”
Francesco’s first impression of TechForce Cyber has been of a supportive, fast-moving team that gives people real responsibility from the start. He is now focused on progressing through his assessor training, developing his technical skills on the Cyber Essentials Plus side, and becoming a reliable part of the team’s continued growth.
He added that he is motivated by doing work that is visibly useful, being trusted to take ownership, and building a long-term career rather than simply doing a job.
Outside of work, Francesco enjoys football, table tennis and music, and is passionate about personal growth, leadership and problem solving.
TechForce Cyber looks forward to supporting Francesco’s development as he builds his career in cyber security and contributes to the company’s growing certification, assessment and threat intelligence capabilities.
